What Makes a Good Poster?

  1. Readability:
    • Important information should be readable from about 10 feet away.
    • Ensure the title is short, catchy, and draws interest.
  2. Word Count:
    • Keep the word count between 300 to 800 words. Be concise and focused.
  3. Clarity:
    • Text should be clear, succinct, and to the point.
    • Use bullet points, numbering, and section headers to make the poster easy to navigate.
  4. Visuals:
    • Incorporate charts, graphs, and images that visually represent your findings.
    • Graphics should be clear and enhance the poster’s message, not clutter it.
  5. Layout:

    • Balance text and visuals to create a visually appealing and readable presentation.
  6. Design Elements:
    • Use effective color schemes, fonts, and font sizes.
