In the Student Research Day (SRD) program, you will see a number and A or B beside your name and abstract title.  This is the number of the poster board to which you have been assigned.  All boards will be numbered and divided into A (left) and B (right) positions/side.  (Example: If you are #20 in Session A, your poster will be on the left side of board #20.)

Explaining your work:

  • Plan to be at your poster during Session A (8:30-10:00 a.m.) or Session B (10:00-11:30 a.m.).  You selected a time when you submitted your abstract online. This is when your work will be judged.

Printing your poster:

  • The Division of Research will pay for the new European size SRD posters to be printed (when you use Creative Services).
  • SRD participants may choose from 3 different templates that are 24″ (wide) x 36″ (high).
  • Use this Creative Services link to submit your poster for printing.

Putting up your poster:

  • In 2018, there will be two smaller posters per board side. Contact Creative Services for the new smaller size research poster template.
  • Session A presenters will post on the left side of the assigned poster board. Session B presenters will post on the right side of the assigned poster board.
  • You will find push pins and SRD programs on a table as you enter IDW.  We do not supply colored construction or poster board paper.

*NO VELCRO MAY BE USED ON THE BOARDS! (It damages the surfaces.)

The actual posting area of the boards is: width 71” and height 47”

Please have your poster removed by 4:00 p.m.  If you are unable to remove your poster by this time, please have someone do it for you.
