To maintain certification as an Advanced Certified Research Specialist, you need to:
- Keep your CITI Human Subject Protection training up-to-date, and
- Complete six (6) approved research education contact hours between Jan. 1 and Nov. 30 each calendar year.
- You may count up to six (6) hours from conferences or courses offered by other programs with approval. Contact Kelly Fountain at kfountain@uams.edu for approval or if you have any other questions.
- When a candidate satisfies the continuation requirements, an official notification of re-certification will be sent via e-mail. The Advanced Certified Research Specialist will then receive a recertification certificate via email.
