IN THE EVENT OF A TORNADO OR OTHER SEVERE WEATHER
- All upper-level floors will be evacuated.
- The storm siren will be sounded at the Markham Street Fire Station to initiate evacuation to lower floors.
- All individuals will be advised by the overhead paging system to use the stairs (not elevators) and move to the first floor of your building.
- Do not leave the building! Do not use the bridgeways!
Since the 1st floor of Biomed I is under construction, we encourage Biomed I employees to go to the 1st floor of Biomed II. Be weather aware. If you know of a severe threat to our area in time, you can go to any of the other shelter areas on campus listed below.
See the first-floor diagram of BioMed I and II for the safest areas (shaded in red).
