If your research involves working with an external entity — whether that’s sharing data, transferring materials, collaborating on joint research, or entering into a confidentiality agreement — you’ll need to initiate the process through the UAMS Research Agreement Intake Form.
Use this form to begin any research-related arrangement involving outside institutions or organizations. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Data sharing agreements
- Material transfer agreements (MTAs)
- Joint research efforts
- Confidentiality agreements
Once submitted, the Research Contracts Office will review your responses and determine the appropriate agreement type for your specific situation.

How to Submit
Complete the intake form with as much detail as possible about your proposed arrangement, then submit it to the Contract team at ResearchContracts@uams.edu.
