Research & Innovation and the Translational Research Institute invite UAMS faculty to the Research Orientation on Thursday, August 27, 2026, from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Jackson T. Stephens Spine & Neuroscience Institute, 12th floor.
Research Orientation
This orientation is an opportunity for new and established faculty to learn about the offices, programs, and resources available to support research at UAMS. Presenters will include representatives from IACUC, DLAM, ORSP, Grants Accounting, ORIS, OH&S, BioVentures, ORRA, IRB, Research Integrity, Research Security, TRI, and other research support areas.
No RSVP is required, and all faculty are welcome. A virtual option will be available for NWA colleagues; connection details will be shared separately.
TRI Research Expo
The TRI Research Expo will follow from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Network with colleagues and chat with representatives from over 50 research services across UAMS, Arkansas Children’s Research Institute, and the Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System. Learn about the full suite of TRI career development, research, and clinical trial services for investigators. Enjoy hors d’oeuvres and beverages.
