RESEARCH SPACE ALLOCATION
All space assignments must adhere to UAMS Space Policies to assure the best and most efficient use of space to support the UAMS mission and strategic plan.
Space assignment requests must be approved by the Research Space Committee → Campus Space Committee prior to occupancy or key/badge requests.
To initiate the space selection and approval process, submit the appropriate form:
- Office Space: Space Request Form [Move/Add/Change]
- Lab Space: Submit a Research Lab Request Form via the Research Portals
Once office or lab space has been approved and assigned, the UAMS Space Database will be updated and requests for keys and badge access can be submitted.
UAMS Capital Project Request Form (CPR): All UAMS requests for project estimates and capital projects anticipated to cost over $15,000 must be submitted to the Capital Budget Committee using the UAMS Capital Project Request Form (CPR).
The Research Space Committee must review and preapprove changes involving renovations in Biomedical Research Building I & II. Please include a copy of the email to RESHSupport@uams.edu when submitting a Capital Project Request Form.
