On Friday, June 3, we will be hosting presentations by QIAGEN Digital Insights. There are two sessions, each to be held at UAMS in the Jo Ellen Ford Auditorium at the Donald W. Reynolds Institute of Aging (629 Jack Stephens Dr, Little Rock, AR 72205). A Zoom link will also be provided for those who may not be able to participate onsite/in-person.
In the first morning session, from 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m., QDI’s Field Application Scientist, Araceli Cuellar, Ph.D., will introduce CLC Genomics Workbench, in particular its features related to RNA-seq and Single Cell RNA-seq. See agenda and registration link here.
In the second afternoon session, from 1:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m., we invite current and prospective IPA end-users at UAMS and U. Arkansas – Fayetteville to participate in an Ingenuity Pathway Analysis (IPA) training session. There is a separate agenda and registration link here. (During, and after the training session for approximately two weeks, the UAMS IPA concurrent license limit will be temporarily opened up so that more people can evaluate IPA simultaneously.)
This session will focus on training new IPA users on formatting and uploading data, running an IPA core analysis, and interpreting the results, as well as:
- Identifying pathways that are likely to be impacted
- Finding causal regulators and their directional effect on genes functions and diseases
- Building pathways and make connections between proteins, compounds, diseases and more, and overlay multiple datasets on a pathway or network
- Understanding the impacted biological processes
- Comparison Analysis: use a heat map to easily visualize trends
- Correlating your core analyses in IPA with thousands of other publicly available profiling datasets from our OmicSoft data repository with Analysis Match
- Introducing other new features: LandExplorer for IPA, and Activity Plot
- Exploring IPA’s knowledge & discovery tools that allow you to relate the most recent literature findings to your research.
If you plan to attend both sessions, either in person or via Zoom, kindly register for both. If you have any other questions, please contact our QIAGEN bioinformatics account manager Loretta.Zainine@qiagen.com.
