What Makes a Good Poster?

- Word Count:
- Keep the word count between 300 to 800 words. Be concise and focused.
- Clarity:
- Text should be clear, succinct, and to the point.
- Use bullet points, numbering, and section headers to make the poster easy to navigate.
- Visuals:
- Incorporate charts, graphs, and images that visually represent your findings.
- Graphics should be clear and enhance the poster’s message, not clutter it.
- Layout:
- Use a consistent and clean layout. A three-column format is commonly used.
- Balance text and visuals to create a visually appealing and readable presentation.
- Design Elements:
- Use effective color schemes, fonts, and font sizes.
- Avoid overwhelming the viewer with too many colors or small text.
- Acknowledgments:
- Include your name, institutional affiliation, and any acknowledgments for funding or assistance.
