To ensure a grant proposal is well developed and submitted on time, UAMS has the following submission policy:
Key Deadlines :
7 business days before the funding agency deadline: Draft grant applications should be received by the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs (ORSP).
2 business days before the funding agency deadline: Final grant applications must be received by the ORSP.

Prepare an extramural grant proposal and set up a grant account in Workday
OSPAN assists researchers in preparing grant application budgets and materials, provides monthly financial reports, and offers support during award closeout.

ORSP negotiates the terms and conditions of all awards, drafts and negotiates subcontracts to other entities, and reviews and approves all proposals sent to sponsors.
