Join us in welcoming Neitrisha Harris to the IRB staff. Neitrisha came to the IRB from the Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute, where she was a clinical research associate/study coordinator. Prior to coming to UAMS, she spent 8 years in quality assurance for the American Red Cross.
While she’ll have varied responsibilities in the IRB office (like all IRB staffers do), Neitrisha will focus on streamlining the xIRB submission and review process. We have been thinking about ways we can better manage xIRB studies. We expect the IRB office staff will play a greater role on these studies in the future by working more closely with investigators on the reliance agreement and site addition processes.
