An email with an attached self-evaluation was sent to all IRB reviewers Wednesday, Aug. 12. We know that completing self-evaluations might rank somewhere between “cleaning the gutters” and “going to the dentist” on the fun scale. However, we do ask that you take the time to complete the evaluations and return them to us. We will use them to identify ways the IRB office can help simplify the work IRB reviewers are asked to do. These evaluations are also part of the overall commitment we’ve made for our AAHRPP (Association for the Accreditation of Human Research Protection Programs) accreditation.
We ask that you complete and return the evaluation to the Edith Paal in the IRB office at paalediths@uams.edu as soon as you can, but no later than Aug. 31. Please email Edith or call her at 686-5544 if you have any questions.
