Sometimes when reviewing an agenda item, you’ll notice that some of the documents linked to the form you’re reviewing will have bolded titles in CLARA, while others won’t. Please don’t take the bolding as a sign that only those documents with a bolded title need reviewing. The bolding could result from several things, none of which relate to the need to review a particular document. Instead, look in the “Saved to Form” column. All IRB documents associated with the particular form (e.g. new submission, modification, CR) should be considered in your review.
Keep in mind, however, that the IRB does not need to review budget documents, even if those documents are linked to a new submission form under review. The IRB does not handle the budget side and those are reviewed by a different office.
