The IRB has welcomed Ashley Block to its office staff. Ashley has worked in research and research administration for more than 15 years at UAMS. For the past 7 years, she was the Project Manager at the Research Division of the Section of Birth Defects in the College of Medicine, Department of Pediatrics at UAMS. She was the Study Manager of two of the Section’s Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s and National Institutes of Health’s pediatric studies. During her tenure within the Section of Birth Defects, she also provided regulatory compliance for all studies within the Section. She also has experience managing research labs. Ashley holds a bachelor’s degree in biology and a master’s in professional and technical writing. Please say hello when you run into Ashley on campus or on the phone!
