Happy New Year to all! Here’s our best guess as to what our IRB reviewers can look forward to in 2021. We’ll cover this information in our in-person education in January.
Some of you will be selected to meet with our AAHRPP accreditation site visitors. We’re not quite sure when the site visit will take place, or who will be chosen to participate, but we’ll let you know as soon as we know. Also, if you have participated in an AAHRPP interview in the past, please let us know, so we can pick your brain about what our reviewers can expect.
We hope to have an AAHRPP site visit preparation page available on our website by the end of January. And we’ve put all of our recent-ish education slides on the IRB Members blog as well, for your reference.
We’re thinking online IRB meetings will continue for the foreseeable future. And, since our offices are now wherever we happen to have an internet connection, here’s a reminder that our conversations during IRB meetings should be kept confidential. We ask that you be mindful of others in your surroundings when you log into meetings, and please try to find a private space from which to log in.
