Recruitment, expanded access, and education credits — upcoming educational offerings have it all

Mark your calendar to attend one (or both) of these upcoming classes. You’ll get information that may help your research, and earn education credit too.

A webinar titled “Cracking the Code for Clinical Trial Recruitment: A Sponsor’s Perspective” is scheduled for Wednesday, March 18, 2015  from 11:00 am – 12:30 pm in COPH/G230. The webinar will be presented by the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP) and will:

  • Explain the key factors in the industry environment that led to this initiative
  • Describe the process of obtaining site feedback
  • Apply insights to recruitment practices
  • Discuss subsequent stakeholder management

Please enroll in this class through Training Tracker, accessible at this link. The webinar is listed under Research Education Q&A. And feel free to attend this event even if you don’t preregister. Please sign in so you’ll get your CRS credit.

Expanded Access to Investigational Drugs will be the topic of an upcoming Research Roundtable discussion presented by Melisa Clark, MS, CCRP, of the UAMS Office of Research Regulatory Affairs (ORRA). The event is scheduled for Thursday, March 19, from 11:00 am. to 12 noon in COPH/G226. Feel free to bring your lunch — light refreshments will also be served. The Research Roundtable is a group organized by the ORRA (former RSC) and TRI to bring together research professionals to discuss questions and issues faced regularly in the research community.  SoCRA and CRS credit will be available. Again, please sign in to make sure you get the appropriate education credits.
