Well, you may recall the good news from a few weeks back — the required human subject protection training taken through citiprogram.org is now valid for 3 years, instead of the previous 2 years.
The not-so-good news is that we still need to have all study staffers’ CITI training current before we can approve a study or a continuing review. That means that everybody listed as staff in CLARA who will be interacting with human subjects or have access to identifiable data needs to have current training. Even if your protocol is absolutely perfect and you’re facing a strict funding application deadline, and/or your continuing review is about to expire, we can’t approve a study unless everybody’s up to date on their human subject protection training. So please make sure all your listed staffers have current training.
